Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has launched a scathing attack on the DMK-led government in Tamil Nadu, accusing it of failing to maintain law and order in the state. Speaking at a press conference, Naidu urged Tamil Nadu residents to make prudent choices in the upcoming elections by supporting NDA candidates for a 'double engine' government to achieve rapid progress.

Naidu expressed concerns over the deteriorating civic infrastructure in the state, citing unchanged roads and the potential flood threat to Chennai from heavy rainfall. He also highlighted the alarming rise in crimes against women, reporting a 59% increase, as well as 32 custodial deaths, and issues with spurious liquor.

While commending Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Naidu reiterated his belief that only Modi can accomplish the ambitious Ganga-Cauvery river-linking project, asserting that Modi is poised to lead for the next two elections, regardless of any opposition from DMK and Congress.
