Chief Minister M K Stalin asserted on Tuesday his commitment to safeguarding Tamil Nadu's progress against those seeking to obstruct it. With the state assembly election imminent, Stalin criticized the Centre’s delimitation move, claiming it was aimed at penalizing thriving states like Tamil Nadu.

In a video statement on social media platform 'X,' Stalin addressed previous claims that likened him to his father, the late Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, emphasizing that though different, his focus also remains on sociopolitical development. He highlighted numerous welfare initiatives and a remarkable 11.19% economic growth under his leadership.

On the delimitation bill rejected in Parliament, he suggested it targeted Tamil Nadu's industrial success. Stalin further dismissed accusations of being anti-Hindu, affirming the secular history of the state. He implored voters to support DMK and its allies for continued growth and governance.
