A significant development occurred when Ayush, a suspected donor, provided a statement to the police. He described being lured into the scheme due to financial trouble, initially promised Rs 9 lakh for his kidney but ultimately receiving only Rs 3.5 lakh. This has exposed the complex web involving fake commitments and deceptive practices.
The probe has unveiled alarming violations among private hospitals. Authorities have sealed facilities operating without proper licenses, and insisted on full CCTV coverage, ensuring visibility in all hospital areas.
