Kerala bid an emotional farewell to a 10-month-old girl, who became the state's youngest organ donor, following her tragic death in a road accident. Despite their profound grief, her parents chose to donate her organs, granting new life to five individuals across the state and highlighting the nobility of organ donation.

Aalin Sherin Abraham, injured critically in a road mishap, was declared brain dead on February 12. Her parents coordinated with the Kerala State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation to donate her organ, with her heart valve, liver, kidneys, and eyes transferred to several medical institutions for transplantation.

The infant's funeral, held with state honors, was attended by state ministers, government officials, and family members of organ recipients. In a poignant eulogy, Union Minister Suresh Gopi praised the family's decision, asserting that Aalin's donation sends a strong message of hope, even in tragedy.
