On Friday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reaffirmed his administration's unwavering commitment to the state's farmers. Yadav highlighted multiple initiatives in place to support farmers, emphasizing that all promises are backed by concrete actions, such as wheat procurement and land acquisition compensation.
Speaking on social media, Yadav underscored his dedication to serving the state, viewing Madhya Pradesh as an extended family tied by common joys and sorrows. He pointed to significant developments under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guidance, stating that farmers are pivotal to the state's progress.
Yadav announced a dedicated Farmer Welfare Year and cited measures like increasing wheat procurement targets and providing agricultural pumps at nominal costs. The government aims to spearhead advancements like promoting urad and mustard production and enhancing milk output, aiming to transform Madhya Pradesh into the country's Milk Capital.
