Petroleum product supplies across Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh remain stable, according to a statement by Ashutosh Gupta, Executive Director of IOCL. Despite national disruptions, petrol, diesel, and LPG supplies are being managed efficiently to prevent shortages.
Efforts to combat illegal practices in the region are underway, with numerous raids and inspections resulting in the seizure of cylinders and legal actions against offenders. A zero-tolerance policy towards hoarding and black marketing is being strictly enforced.
Additionally, measures to enhance supply chain management and prioritize vulnerable sections, including digital booking systems and increased allocations for migrant laborers, have been implemented. Further plans include the establishment of a main trunk pipeline for piped gas supply within a year.
