Godrej Agrovet Limited has announced the launch of 'Disha', a Women's Career Accelerator Programme at its Women in Agriculture Summit, emphasizing the company's commitment to an inclusive agriculture sector.
Disha aims to bridge the gender gap in agribusiness by equipping women with essential skills across communication, sales, and professional readiness. Implemented in partnership with the 1M1B Foundation and Ikka Learning Foundation, this initiative has so far engaged over 276 women students in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.
The programme, a CSR initiative, comes as part of a broader strategy to develop a skilled workforce for India's agricultural transformation, contributing to rural prosperity and sustainability.
