Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied awareness of any Russian plans to halt Kazakhstan's oil exports to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline starting May 1 during a conference call on Tuesday. Peskov said the matter would be examined upon being queried by journalists.

The statement followed reports from three industry sources who informed Reuters about the scheduled halt in oil exports from Kazakhstan to Germany through the pipeline.

While the news highlights potential logistical and economic ramifications, official positions remain unclear as Russia's involvement and stance continue to unfold.
