In a dramatic series of events, the Anti-Auto Theft Squad (AATS) of Southeast Delhi successfully apprehended a notorious criminal, Mohammad Rizwan, after an intense shootout. Rizwan was on the run with a ₹15,000 bounty announced by the Uttar Pradesh Police. Delhi Police's swift action came following intelligence about his presence near Amar Colony.

Attempting to evade capture, Rizwan allegedly opened fire on law enforcement, prompting a counterattack where he was shot in the leg. Authorities revealed that Rizwan intended to commit a crime in the area but was thwarted before taking any criminal action. He remains in custody for further interrogation.

In a separate operation, the Dwarka AATS captured two suspected Lagarpuria gang members implicated in a recent shooting in Shyam Vihar. A gunfire exchange resulted in one suspect being injured. This successful intervention was orchestrated under precise intelligence efforts leading to a confrontation on Urban Extension Road. Both individuals were detained for their involvement in the incident, further amplifying the police's efforts to curtail organized crime in Delhi.
