In a decisive move, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed officials on Friday to initiate a special campaign for swiftly addressing complaints pending for over 30 days on the CM Helpline-1905. He underscored that no complaint should be closed without the explicit recommendation of either the District Magistrate, a Department Head, or the concerned Secretary.
Spearheading a review meeting at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister declared that accountability would be enforced on any officer closing complaints prematurely. Describing the helpline as a vital medium reflecting the public's trust and expectations, he insisted on achieving full complainant satisfaction before resolving issues.
Dhami stressed the necessity of routine review meetings across all levels, targeting a speedy resolution of pending complaints. He instructed that these grievances be handled with utmost seriousness, akin to those escalated to his office directly. AI-based tools are also being leveraged to enhance complaint management and address seasonal grievances effectively.
