Uttarakhand Prepares for Char Dham Yatra 2026 with New Registration Facilities

Uttarakhand officials have ramped up preparations for the 2026 Char Dham Yatra, with Haridwar District Magistrate Mayur Dixit and Senior Superintendent of Police Navneet Singh Bhullar supervising the free registration center in Haridwar. To mark the occasion, they greeted pilgrims with garlands and sweets, ensuring a warm start to the sacred journey.
Speaking to the media, DM Mayur Dixit confirmed that 20 registration counters are set up at Rishikul Ground, along with medical facilities for the pilgrims’ well-being. “We meticulously reviewed the arrangements and gave a cordial welcome to the pilgrims,” he stated.
SSP Navneet Singh Bhullar further elaborated on the comprehensive traffic management plans, anticipating a smooth pilgrimage beginning from April 19. Pilgrims have appreciated the government’s meticulous arrangements ensuring a delightful and secure journey.
