Jaipur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Ltd has set a new benchmark in its 26-year history by collecting over Rs 29,462 crore in revenue for the fiscal year 2025-26. This achievement marks a 102% revenue realization, surpassing the previous high of 101.02% recorded in 2017-18.
The Bharatpur zone led the charge with an impressive 104.63% collection rate, followed closely by Kota at 103.64% and Jaipur at 101.32%. The remarkable results in Bharatpur, previously seen as a challenging area, were driven by stringent measures against defaulters and electricity theft and successful legal resolutions of longstanding cases.
All 18 operational circles reported over 100% revenue recovery, with Karauli standing out at 108.80%, followed by strong performances in Bundi, Kota, and Bharatpur. The Nigam's commitment to excellence also extended to reducing transmission and distribution losses and ensuring zero-defective meters for precise billing across all circles.
