The Delhi High Court, on Thursday, issued an interim order demanding the removal of defamatory videos and articles by Tamil media outlet Nakkheeran Media targeting Isha Foundation and its founder, Sadhguru. This directive comes in response to a defamation suit filed by Isha Foundation, accompanied by a firm statement of intent to continue legal proceedings against any further false allegations.

The controversy began with Nakkheeran Media's series of videos, allegedly containing vulgar content aimed at damaging the reputation of Isha Foundation and Sadhguru. Reacting to these publications, the Foundation initiated a legal suit in 2024, seeking immediate removal of the content, as well as a ban on future similar publications. The interim application was deliberated upon in December 2025, leading to the recent court order.

Isha Foundation expressed its approval of the court's decision, emphasizing its commitment to legal avenues against misinformation. "Our mission to enhance human well-being and social development has been consistent over three decades, and such attacks will not deter our dedication," a spokesperson stated. This follows a previous court order in March 2025, where another defamatory video against the Foundation was also removed under judicial directives.
