Telangana's Commitment to Farmers: 'Rythu Bharosa' Scheme Enhancements Announced

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced that the disbursement of funds under the 'Rythu Bharosa' investment support scheme for farmers will commence on March 22. He made this announcement during the Ugadi celebrations organized by the state government.

The government plans to deposit Rs 9,000 crores into the bank accounts of farmers as part of the scheme, which has already seen Rs 18,000 crores disbursed over the past two years, providing Rs 12,000 per acre annually. Reddy underscored the government's commitment to addressing agricultural land issues and completing a farm loan waiver benefiting 25 lakh families.

Despite advancements in IT and industrialization, a significant portion of Telangana's population depends on agriculture. The Chief Minister emphasized that the state maintains the lowest debt burden for farmers, a point of pride for the administration. The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, ministers, and other leaders.
