Vibrant Ugadi Festivities Illuminate Telangana with Tradition

Ugadi, the much-anticipated Telugu New Year, brought lively celebrations to Telangana on Thursday. Families enthusiastically decorated their homes with intricate rangoli and mango leaf festoons to symbolize prosperity, while many visited temples to seek blessings for the coming year.
A central attraction of this year's celebration was the communal preparation and enjoyment of 'Ugadi pachadi', a traditional dish that combines the diverse tastes of neem flowers, green mango, jaggery, tamarind, salt, and spice, representing the varying experiences of life.
Political figures such as Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and others participated in state-organized events. Meanwhile, BRS Working President K T Rama Rao celebrated at Telangana Bhavan. Leaders across the political spectrum delivered warm greetings, affirming the cultural significance of this occasion.
