In Telangana, political tensions escalated as BJP President N Ramchander Rao criticized the AIMIM MLAs for walking out of the assembly during the full rendition of 'Vande Mataram.' Rao highlighted the need for accountability, urging Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar to at least issue a show-cause notice to the legislators involved.

Rao paralleled the situation to Karnataka, where Legislative Assembly Speaker U T Khader had walked out over non-responsive ministers during the Question Hour. He suggested Telangana's Speaker should maintain similar strict oversight to ensure government accountability and decorum during legislative proceedings.

Additionally, BJP leader Prakash Reddy condemned the AIMIM legislators' actions as an affront to the nation's dignity, accusing them of lacking faith in India and its Constitution. The controversy follows a Central Government mandate for the full rendition of 'Vande Mataram' at official events, sparking debate over its implementation.
