At a pre-Ugadi celebration, Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla underscored the value of cultural roots, referencing a Hindi poem by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He advocated the belief that culture contributes to greatness, echoing Vajpayee's message that open-mindedness and emotional strength are vital.
Governor Shukla also extended Ugadi greetings, noting that the upcoming Telugu New Year, known as 'Paraabhava', is a time when negative thoughts should be replaced by optimism and the pursuit of triumph. Ugadi, falling on March 19, is seen as an opportunity for renewal and hope.
The event was attended by significant figures including Telangana High Court Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, reinforcing the message of unity and cultural pride amidst the celebration.
