The CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Exams commenced nationwide, with students flocking to exam centers armed with admit cards and stationery, signaling the start of the examination season. Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Moti Bagh witnessed parents offering last-minute encouragement as their children embarked on the exam journey.
Despite palpable tension at centers, many students expressed a mix of nervous excitement and confidence. Jamuna Thapa, a student, shared her feelings with ANI, stating, 'I am nervous yet thrilled to take on this challenge. My preparations have been comprehensive, thanks to coaching and extra classes. The first exam is math, and I'm eager to see how I perform.'
Parents also played a vital role in supporting students. Dilip Kumar, a parent, recounted his daughter's preparation journey, sharing advice and arranging online coaching. As the exams unfolded, Siddharth from Bengaluru felt optimistic, attributing his confidence to consistent study throughout the year. Advait Chetan echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing preparedness despite initial nerves.
The CBSE announced that attendance for the first Class 10 Board exam is mandatory, clarifying that students missing three or more subjects would be ineligible for the second phase. A letter highlighted the importance of participation to ensure eligibility for attempts at improvement in select subjects.
