Crime Branch Busts Drug Trafficking Trio in Indore

In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, Indore's crime branch arrested three individuals transporting 513 grams of MD drugs, an official disclosed on Thursday.
The men, named as Nikhil, Mukesh from Mandsaur, and Kamlesh from Rajasthan, attempted to flee when intercepted by a police check on MR-4 Road. The swift police response led to their apprehension and subsequent confiscation of contraband.
DCP Rajesh Kumar Tripathi announced that the seizure, following the Chief Minister's directives against narcotics, holds a street value of Rs 1 crore. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered as authorities seek further details on the drug network's operations.
