Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Powers Forward: Jageshwar Dham Development Boost

In a significant push towards regional development, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Jageshwar Dham on Tuesday, performing prayers and seeking blessings for the state’s prosperity. As part of his visit, CM Dhami unveiled and launched the foundation stone for six crucial development projects in Almora district, with investment totaling Rs 76.78 crore.
The projects include improving the Danya-Ara Salpad and Chaikhana-Thuasimal motor roads and constructing a 33/11 kV substation at Satyun. Additionally, he laid foundation stones for non-residential buildings at Government Polytechnic Sult and Danya and a mechanical block at Government Polytechnic Dwarahat. Dhami inspected the Jageshwar Dham Master Plan, stressing timely completion and adherence to high-quality standards.
Highlighting Jageshwar's spiritual significance, CM Dhami urged departments to work in unison to enhance its appeal. Citing increased visitor numbers, he called for stronger infrastructure, instructing continuous project monitoring. He suggested developing Vriddha Jageshwar alongside Jageshwar Dham. Dhami sees the Dham's development as pivotal for employment and global tourism.
