Dehradun-Tanakpur Express Upgrades to Tri-Weekly Service

The Railway Ministry of India has given the green light to expand the service frequency of the Dehradun-Tanakpur Express from a weekly schedule to three days a week.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami lauded the decision, branding it a significant step for public welfare. He elaborated that this development would facilitate easier travel between Dehradun and the Kumaon region, enhancing both connectivity and tourism.
In a continued effort to improve the state's transport network, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. This upgrade, he stated, aligns with the central government's commitment, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to propel Uttarakhand towards development.
