Delhi Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh on Tuesday lauded the government's arrangements for Chhath Puja celebrations across the capital, emphasizing the fulfillment of a promise to hold festivities along the Yamuna's banks. Following their oath-taking, ministers performed aarti, underscoring a commitment to this sacred cultural celebration.

This year's celebrations were marked by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta's participation in the final rituals at ITO's Hathi Ghat. Surrounded by hymns and chants, she expressed gratitude for being part of the time-honored festivities, which concluded with the 'Usha Arghya' offering to the rising Sun.

Across the country, Chhath Puja saw thousands gather at rivers and ghats, including in Bihar and Varanasi, to offer prayers and seek divine blessings. Security was robust at major hubs to ensure orderly and safe celebrations as the four-day festival culminated in a vibrant display of spirituality and community.
