Kerala Governor Lauds State's Initiative for Homeless Students

Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar showcased his admiration for the state after witnessing its compassionate response to aiding homeless students. During the Kerala School Sports Meet, 50 students from underprivileged backgrounds will receive houses, a gesture initiated by the state government.
Addressing the audience at the Kerala Games 2025 valedictory event, Arlekar applauded Minister V Sivankutty for the initiative. Thiruvananthapuram district clinched victory, earning the Gold Cup, as sports continued to underline significant socio-economic outcomes.
Highlighting the consistent execution of the event, Arlekar also commended the collective efforts of the sports and education departments, affirming Kerala’s leadership role in combining educational achievements with social welfare initiatives.
