In a bold move to elevate Telangana's tourism profile, Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao announced a strategic vision to make the state a premier destination by 2047. This ambitious plan involves creating comprehensive master plans across six key Special Tourism Areas (STAs) including Spiritual, Heritage, and Eco-Wellness circuits.
Minister Rao, during a recent meeting with tourism officials, emphasized the importance of developing an investment-friendly environment. He stressed the need for timely completion of ongoing projects, estimated to cost over 274.93 crore, with strict adherence to monthly timelines.
Exploring innovative attractions like Cantilever Glass Viewpoints, the government aims to enhance visitor experiences. The initiatives also focus on structuring circuits that encompass temple towns, crafts villages, and historical sites, positioning Telangana as a world-class tourism hub.
