Amit Khare, a retired Indian Administrative Service officer, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Sansad TV. Khare, who already serves as the secretary to the Vice President, will assume the additional role following a decision by Sansad TV's Governing Council.

Khare takes over the position from Lok Sabha Secretary General Utpal Kumar Singh, who was assigned the role of CEO in July and whose extension ends next month.

This appointment is immediate and will be in effect until further orders, according to a notification released by Sansad TV. His dual roles will see him managing the responsibilities of both Secretary to the Vice President and CEO of Sansad TV simultaneously.
