As part of its centenary celebrations, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will host over 100,000 Hindu Sammelans across the nation, the organization announced Tuesday. These events aim to promote 'panch parivartan' and expand Hindutva, according to Sunil Ambekar, the RSS's all-India publicity chief.
The 'panch parivartan' initiative focuses on national transformation through five pillars: social harmony, family consciousness, civic duty, environmental awareness, and self-reliance. Ambekar briefed reporters ahead of the annual three-day meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal, set to commence on October 30.
Over 406 office-bearers, including RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, will attend the meeting. In addition, RSS workers will launch a door-to-door campaign from November to January. This initiative seeks to engage people in discussions about social issues and civic duties, marking the centenary with youth programs aimed at fostering discipline and patriotism.
