Odisha's Chief Minister, Mohan Charan Majhi, participated in a significant cultural tradition on Saturday by performing the 'Khadi Chhuan' ritual. This event, held at the Raj Bhavan Government Upper Primary School, symbolizes the commencement of formal education for first-time students in the region.
Majhi personally guided the young children as they wrote 'Maa-Bapa' in Odia, illustrating the government's dedication to embracing education within cultural contexts. He interacted with students, inquiring about their comfort, and reviewed educational materials designed to support their learning journey.
Reiterating the state's commitment, the Chief Minister declared that every child would have access to education, aligning with policies to integrate anganwadis with 'Sishu Vatikas'. Efforts are underway to encourage parental involvement and ensure complete enrolment across Odisha.
