In today's fast-evolving work landscape, routine tasks are increasingly automated, underscoring the importance of skills like judgment, creativity, and ethical reasoning, according to former UGC Chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar.
Speaking at the ''Knowledge as Power'' discussion during the two-day ''Bharati Naari to Narayani: National Convention of Women Thought Leaders'' organised by Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, Kumar highlighted the challenges of converting information into actionable knowledge. He emphasized the necessity of fostering critical thinking and teamwork in the youth.
Kumar urged educational reforms to reduce dropout rates, particularly among women, and advocated for a curriculum that equips students with essential competencies. His vision for 2047 includes comprehensive education that ensures the success of women in future economies.
