Tragic Turn of Events: Dual Suicides in Gandhinagar

In a tragic incident, two women employed by the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation allegedly died by suicide, taking a leap into a local canal, as reported on Saturday.
The victims, identified as Sejal Patel, 26, and Ripal Rawat, 24, were residents of Ahmedabad and had recently joined the civic body. An anonymous source indicated that one of the women informed her family of the intention to end her life together with her friend.
With mobile phones unresponsive and police efforts involving the fire brigade, their bodies were recovered and returned to their families post-mortem. Authorities have not uncovered a suicide note and are investigating the motivation behind their drastic action.
