At the national convention of women thought leaders, Rashtra Sevika Samiti chief V Shantha Kumari emphasized the need to redefine the narrative regarding women's roles in Indian society. Highlighting the significant part women play, from space science to major operations, she pushed for a correct understanding of their societal contributions.
Despite some individuals using scriptures to depict exploitation, Kumari reiterated the profound respect Indian culture holds for women. She posited that women not only sustain society but can transform into powerful forces. The convention, titled 'Bharati – Nari to Narayani', was organized with key support from Bharatiya Vidvat Parishad and Sharanya.
During the inauguration, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stressed the essential role of women in leadership helping others by offering support and opportunities. She underscored the importance of empowering future generations of girls, emphasizing the need for courage and opportunities previously inaccessible to many women.
