Leadership Shift at Noida International Airport
Noida International Airport appointed Nitu Sarma as interim CEO after the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security mandated that Indian airports be led by Indian nationals. Swiss Christoph Schnellmann moves to the Board as Executive Vice Chairman. Sarma served as CFO since October 2021.

Noida International Airport has announced a significant leadership change. Nitu Sarma, formerly the Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed as the interim Chief Executive Officer.
This move comes after the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) directed that airport CEOs in India must be Indian nationals.
Christoph Schnellmann, a Swiss national who served as CEO since August 2020, will shift roles to join the airport's Board of Directors as Executive Vice Chairman.
