The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested Sunil Tripathi, the former CEO of Jayshri Gayatri Food Products Pvt Ltd (JGFPPL), as part of an ongoing investigation into money laundering linked to adulterated dairy products.

Tripathi, taken into custody on April 20, faced allegations of uncooperativeness and evasion of communications related to the investigation. ED conducted a search at his premises in Vadodara, seizing incriminating evidence and freezing bank deposits.

JGFPPL allegedly replaced milk fat with palm oil in dairy products supplied domestically and internationally. The company reportedly submitted forged lab reports for export clearance, laundering Rs 20.59 crore. Tripathi is accused of orchestrating these activities, while the managing director was arrested earlier.
