Defence Minister Rajnath Singh extended an invitation to Germany’s defence industry to collaborate with India in developing and producing advanced military technologies. Addressing industry leaders at the Defence Investor Summit in Munich, Singh emphasized the critical need for partnerships built on reliability and shared aspirations amidst the shifting global geopolitical landscape.

Highlighting India's young workforce and evolving industrial ecosystem, Singh portrayed the country as an enticing market for long-term investments. He also pointed to the untapped potential of initiatives like ReArm Europe and Aatmanirbhar Bharat, urging German firms to partner with India in cutting-edge projects such as AI-enabled systems and radar technologies.

During his visit, Singh met with German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, strengthening the strategic defence partnership between India and Germany. They marked the occasion by formalizing the 'Defence Industrial Cooperation Roadmap' and further discussed avenues for cooperation in maritime technologies.
