Tragic Road Accidents Claim Young Lives in Kerala
Two young men tragically lost their lives in separate road accidents in Kochi and Kozhikode, Kerala. In Kochi, a 24-year-old died after his motorcycle crashed into a Metro Rail pillar. In Kozhikode, a 26-year-old succumbed after his motorcycle collided with a truck. Both incidents highlight road safety issues in the region.

In a tragic turn of events in Kerala, two young lives were lost in separate road accidents in Kochi and Kozhikode. The incidents have raised concerns about road safety and infrastructure in the state.
In the first incident, Hormis Mathew Alookkaaran, aged 24, died after crashing his motorcycle into a Metro Rail pillar in Kochi. Despite efforts to save him, Alookkaaran succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital, police reported.
Meanwhile, in Kozhikode, a 26-year-old named Akshaya lost his life when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a truck. The accident, involving a truck registered in Andhra Pradesh, occurred at Chelavoor around 8 pm earlier in the week.
