Hyundai Breaks Sales Records in March 2026

Hyundai Motor India Ltd has reported a significant growth in sales, achieving a 2.5% year-on-year increase with 69,004 units sold in March 2026. This figure includes a record-setting 55,064 domestic units, marking a 6.3% growth compared to March 2025.
The first quarter of 2026 saw total sales of 2,08,275 units, representing an 8.7% increase over the previous year. Domestic sales for the quarter reached 1,66,578 units, the highest quarterly performance since the company began operations, while exports contributed 41,697 units, growing by 9.4% year-on-year.
HMIL's MD & CEO Tarun Garg expressed optimism about maintaining this sales momentum with upcoming launches like the upgraded Hyundai Verna and Exter, while also acknowledging potential challenges from geopolitical events. The company is geared up for a robust FY2026-27, focusing on innovative and customer-centric products.
