Tata Motors Sees 17% Surge in Commercial Vehicle Sales
Tata Motors reported a 17% rise in commercial vehicle sales in March, reaching 47,976 units. Domestic sales increased by 18%, while international sales dipped by 4%. For FY26, total sales climbed 14%. Tata Motors plans to tackle geopolitical challenges, focus on diesel price impact, and expand their product range.

Tata Motors Ltd revealed a significant 17% growth in March's total commercial vehicle sales, amounting to 47,976 units. This marks an improvement from last year’s 41,122 units.
Domestic sales surged by 18% to 45,825 units, in contrast to FY25 figures. However, the international market experienced a 4% decline.
CEO Girish Wagh commented on improving conditions in FY26's latter half, despite challenges such as geopolitical tensions and fluctuating diesel prices, and emphasized strategic measures to maintain production efficiency.
