Leveraging advanced AI and machine learning, Amazon is combating organized retail crime and maintaining product safety. The report indicates that legal measures in 2025 led to the closure of over 100 scam websites targeting the retailer.

Furthering their initiatives, Amazon's Counterfeit Crimes Unit has prosecuted more than 32,000 offenders across 14 countries. The e-commerce giant, working alongside Chinese authorities and brands, conducted over 70 raids against counterfeit producers in the previous year.
