The backup calling feature, designed to optimize dual SIM card usage, originated from the practical needs identified in India, where fluctuating network coverage often necessitates the use of two SIMs. This innovation, warmly received by Samsung's headquarters in Suwon, South Korea, has now become a staple in every Samsung device.
