Two remarkable innovators from Delhi Technological University (DTU) have secured Rs 15 lakh each in the prestigious MSME Idea Hackathon 5.0. The national innovation challenge, organized by the Ministry of MSME, aimed to stimulate groundbreaking solutions in stealth, surveillance, and cyber defense technologies.
Anshul Sharma, a prolific startup founder within DTU's incubator, impressed with his 'Flying Wing VTOL UAV System,' equipped for expansive 150 km range operations, smart docking, and AI-enhanced surveillance. Also recognized was Chitwan Tejan, a forward-thinking student tackling drone security challenges with pioneering forensic analysis.
Vice Chancellor Prateek Sharma lauded the awardees, emphasizing the university's thriving environment for innovation and research excellence that aligns with national defense priorities. The university praised its incubator's steadfast guidance, crucial to the innovators' success.
