Mahindra & Samsung Revolutionize with Digital Car Keys

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Mahindra & Mahindra and Samsung are set to revolutionize the automotive experience by introducing digital car keys integrated with Samsung Wallet for Mahindra's electric SUVs. This partnership, announced by Samsung, marks the first time an Indian automobile manufacturer has leveraged such digital technology.

Madhur Chaturvedi, senior director for services and apps business at Samsung India, highlighted that Mahindra would be the inaugural Indian firm to embrace this initiative, joining the ranks of global automakers like BMW and Mercedes-Benz who already support Samsung Wallet's digital key feature.

The innovative feature will roll out in November for new Mahindra eSUVs, with a phased introduction for existing vehicles. Owners will pair Samsung Wallet with their car keys, thus eliminating the need for physical keys. Impressively, the NFC technology ensures functionality even if the phone's battery is depleted.
