The World Economic Forum, aligning with the Government of India, has unveiled AI playbooks for agriculture and small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), alongside a white paper on AI sandboxes. This initiative aims to expedite the adoption of responsible AI across key economic sectors.
Developed with assistance from BCG X, these documents provide strategic frameworks and roadmaps for leveraging AI in ways that boost productivity, accessibility to finance, and market reach. The publications were crafted through thorough consultations and fieldwork, involving various stakeholders in India's technology ecosystem.
The initiative, part of the AI for India 2030 drive, seeks to unite government, industry, and academia to foster AI that is inclusive, safe, and scalable. By focusing on agriculture and SMEs, it aims to empower farmers, enhance SME productivity, and drive nationwide economic transformation.
