In a striking feat at the US Open Pickleball Championship 2026, Arjun Singh and Dhiren Patel emerged victorious, clinching gold in their respective categories and boosting India's final tally to three gold medals. Arjun defeated Ashton Patterson in the Men's Singles 5.0 with a scoreline of 13-11, 11-6, while seasoned champion Dhiren secured glory in the 40+ Pro Men's Singles in Naples, Florida.

Expressing his satisfaction after the match, Dhiren Patel described it as one of his toughest competitions, stating, "Extremely happy with the win; it was one of the more challenging matches so far, but I managed to execute my strategies and bring home the gold." Patel acknowledged the support he has received and extended congratulations to his teammates for their victories.

Suryaveer Singh Bhullar, President of the Indian Pickleball Association, welcomed the achievements saying they bolster India's status as a burgeoning powerhouse in pickleball and predicted future dominance in global rankings. The association also celebrated a historic direct entry to the US Open, signaling a promising trajectory on the international scene.
