The 22-kilometer run will traverse the awe-inspiring terrain of the Western Ghats, an area once considered impenetrable but now transformed into an exemplary corridor of connectivity.
This event will unfold on the Kuttikkanam - Kattappana stretch of the Idukki Hill Highway, a project executed by the Government of Kerala and financed by the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) with a budget of Rs. 134.4 Crore. Celebrated as a modern engineering marvel, the highway epitomizes the government’s commitment to infrastructure under Chief Minister Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan. It aims to boost hill tourism while offering vital connectivity.
