Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has issued a global plea for investment in Telangana during the BioAsia 2026 event. Reddy highlighted Telangana's transformation into a globally competitive hub, seeking to attract investment in GCCs, innovation, and life sciences.
The Chief Minister stressed the importance of collaboration between research labs, corporates, start-ups, MSMEs, and the government to leverage current life sciences trends for future growth. The state's ambitious vision, 'Telangana Rising 2047', aims for a USD 1 trillion economy by 2034 and USD 3 trillion by 2047.
Industries Minister Sridhar Babu projects Telangana as one of the top three global life science clusters by the decade's end, targeting USD 25 billion in investment and creating high-value jobs. To support this, the state launched the 'Young India Skills University' and the Telangana School of Life Sciences for advanced training in cutting-edge technologies.
