A 14-year-old boy named Ansh Sahu allegedly took his own life, with his family blaming an addiction to a mobile game for his tragic end. Found hanging in his home in Shriram Colony, the Class 9 student was reportedly addicted to 'Free Fire', a factor his parents strongly suspect contributed to his untimely death.

Before the incident, Ansh's family noticed his growing isolation and declining academic performance. Despite multiple attempts to intervene, including counseling and withholding his phone, Ansh continued to play the game, which had previously caused a substantial financial loss to the family.

Local authorities, led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Vivek Singh, are investigating the case and plan to issue advisories regarding the game's potential risks. As concerns over the impact of online gaming intensify, officials are seeking measures to prevent similar tragedies.
