In a tragic incident early Wednesday, three minor sisters from Ghaziabad lost their lives after allegedly jumping off a ninth-floor balcony. Police investigations have identified their addiction to a Korean online game as a potential factor.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Atul Kumar Singh disclosed that preliminary findings suggest the girls were heavily engaged in an interactive 'love game', which drew objections from their parents regarding their excessive mobile phone use in recent days.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Nimish Patil, the sisters were greatly influenced by Korean content, spending substantial time on their phones. Family restrictions on mobile use seemingly caused distress, possibly triggering their fatal decision. A diary containing notes related to the incident was found, offering more insights as the investigation unfolds.
