Friday's double-header of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) Season 3 witnessed dominant performances from Majhi Mumbai and Tiigers of Kolkata, thrilling fans at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium. Majhi Mumbai defended their title vigorously, securing a 27-run victory over Ahmedabad Lions, followed by Tiigers of Kolkata dismantling Srinagar Ke Veer with an astounding 84-run triumph.
Majhi Mumbai capitalized on all-rounder Abhishek Kumar Dalhor's scintillating five-wicket spell to dismantle the Lions' pursuit of a 91-run target. Darshan Bandekar top-scored with 28, providing a crucial foundation. Despite early resistance from Sikandarbhai Bhatti and Pradeep Patil, the Lions crumbled under pressure, managing only 63 in their 10 overs.
Earlier, Tiigers of Kolkata set a formidable 137 target, powered by Saif Ali's explosive 58-run innings. The bowling unit, led by Vivek Mohanan and Ankit Yadav, restricted Srinagar Ke Veer to 52 in 10 overs, sealing a record-breaking win.
