The Sri Lankan cricket board dispatched a reconnaissance team to Pakistan to review security and travel protocols in preparation for their upcoming T20 tour next month.
The team is engaging with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials to receive briefings on safety measures and accommodations for their players.
In an unusual move for Sri Lanka, given their resumed international visits since 2019, the team assesses venues in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Faisalabad, marking an ongoing commitment to safety, especially after past incidents.
