The Indian senior women's football team experienced a narrow 1-2 loss against Nepal in their second Tri-Nation International Friendlies match held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Monday.
Nepal's striker, Sabitra Bhandari, scored twice, giving the visitors an edge. Karishma Shirvoikar rallied India's spirits late in the game with her debut goal for the senior national team.
India's defense faced an early challenge when Bhandari netted in the second minute. Despite this, India fought to equalize, but Nepal's resilience secured their win.
