Lakshya Rajesh and Diksha Sudhakar made it to the girls' singles pre-quarterfinals with notable victories, while Jagsher Singh Khangurra reached the same stage in the boys' event.
In the U-17 girls' singles, Lakshya Rajesh confidently defeated Chinese Taipei's Kuan Yi Lin with scores of 21-17 and 21-11. Diksha Sudhakar delivered a remarkable comeback, overcoming China's Luo Ya Ru in a gripping three-set match, 17-21, 21-16, 21-11.
The boys' singles saw Jagsher Singh Khangurra dominate against China's Zhang Yu Feng, winning 21-14, 21-17. Meanwhile, India's doubles teams shone brightly, with Deepak Raj Aditi and P. Vriddhi achieving victory over Malaysia's pairing, and the U-15 duo of Hemanth Sri Sammetla and Sharayu Ranjane moving past Singapore's fifth seed with ease.
